2016 got the ball rolling.
2016 started very strong, seeing the release of the pilot episode of idiots.exe. The show was an heir that succeeded the original adventures of Angiru, Fist, and Codi from my old channel, coolernow123. Its first official episode followed shortly in May, and it gave my YouTube channel and website the most exposure to date.
With a new focus on idiots.exe, Project 1 A DAY came to an end, as there was no longer a need to practice 3D.
It became clear that episodes of idiots.exe would take a while to make, so two weeks after idiots.exe's first episode, I launched Reddit Explorer, a video series that was meant to be used if I ever needed to satiate my subscribers with content.
Production on episode 2 came to a halt when my laptop broke in June. Despite it being fixed a few weeks later, I was left reeling, attempting to regain focus. I ended THIS IS IT in an attempt to get episode 2 out by fall, but it was no use. I found myself unable to even finish the script. To keep everyone else occupied, I launched another thing: Filler Videos.
Filler Videos were intended to keep my subscribers at bay with random monthly 3D animations while I worked on episode 2 of idiots.exe. It replaced Reddit Explorer, which I ended because I wanted my channel to have mostly 3D content. Filler Videos did well for the first two months with rich dinos and Capitalism, but when my school resumed in the fall, everything came crashing down on my head with homework and college applications, sending everything into a grinding halt once again.
So I put Filler Videos on hold and stepped away from 3D animations altogether in hopes to regain my focus by 2017 and finish episode 2 as soon as possible. Here's to hoping that happens.
Despite all the chaos in the latter half of this year, my favorite part of 2016 was all the fan art I got. It really helped me keep my spirits up. Be sure to check it all out by clicking on this image:
